Golfing at Terrace Downs Resort

Based at the foothills of the Southern Alps, there are few scenic alpine courses like it. The golf course at Terrace Downs is fun and challenging for all golfers, from the first-time novice to the aspiring professional. The rewarding par 72 course offers a choice of four tees on each hole, and the spectacular views pose a constant challenge for players to keep their eye on the ball!

Claybird Shooting

Terrace Downs Resort is home to Newzengland, who offer a range of great activities! Claybird shooting is a sport for all, catering for all ages and levels, from the complete novice to the very experienced shot. A large part of the experience is the sheer awe at the stunning scenery that unfolds as you exit the forest walkway into the activities area. The excitement of a clay smashing for the first time is right up there too!

Archery

 Newzengland also offers a great archery experience. Archery is an excellent sport for all age groups, and bows are available in all sizes, including for children. After a brief introductory lesson and a safety briefing you’ll be wielding a bow and arrow with almost as much finesse as Robin Hood, Maid Marion or the legendary William Tell.
